01 / OVERVIEW

What this course is about

Snowflake is one of the most requested skills in data engineering job posts. I use it every day at work and I hold the Snowflake Advanced Data Engineer certification. In this course you learn how Snowflake works under the hood, load and transform data the way production teams do, automate pipelines with streams and tasks, and keep the bill under control.

You learn by doing: every week has hands-on exercises on Google Classroom, and every module ends with something you built yourself.

01

Understand Snowflake architecture

Storage, compute and services layers, micro-partitions and caching.

02

Load data like production teams

Stages, file formats, COPY INTO and Snowpipe from Azure storage.

03

Handle JSON and Parquet

VARIANT, FLATTEN and lateral joins for semi-structured data.

04

Automate with streams and tasks

Change data capture, task graphs and dynamic tables.

05

Secure and govern data

Role based access, masking and row access policies.

06

Control cost and performance

Warehouse sizing, query profile, clustering and resource monitors.

03 / PROJECTS

What you will build

Real projects you can put on GitHub and explain with confidence in interviews.

PROJECT 01

Auto ingest pipeline

Files land in Azure storage and load into Snowflake automatically with Snowpipe, with errors captured and alerted.

StagesSnowpipeFile formats
PROJECT 02

CDC into SCD Type 2

Track changes with streams and tasks and keep full history in a customer dimension.

PROJECT 03

Cost and performance dashboard

Use ACCOUNT_USAGE views to find expensive warehouses and queries, then fix them and measure the savings.

09 / FAQ

Questions about Snowflake Developer

Do I need to pay for Snowflake?

No. Snowflake offers a free trial with credits, which is enough for the course if you follow the cost tips we cover. I help you set it up in the first session.

Will this help with SnowPro Core?

Yes. The course covers the main SnowPro Core areas and we finish with a study plan and practice questions.

Is Snowflake better than Databricks?

They solve different problems and many companies use both. I work with both daily and we discuss when each one fits, including migrations between them.

How much does it cost?

200 USD per month whichever course you choose. You can also pay 100 USD every 15 days or 50 USD per week. All prices are in US dollars wherever you live.

What is the refund policy?

If the training is not right for you after the first session, you get a full refund. After that, payments already used for completed sessions are not refunded, but unused prepaid time can be refunded.

Is there a job guarantee?

Yes. As long as you attend your sessions and complete the assignments and projects, I keep helping you with CV, LinkedIn, mock interviews and job applications until you are hired.

Can I join from another country or time zone?

Yes. Students join from many countries. We pick session times that work for your time zone before we start.
